PRIVACY POLICY

Our Returns & Refunds Policy includes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law and other relevant laws.

"Goods"
By and large St Kilda Hebrew Congregation does not sell "goods" with rare exception. When it does, you are entitled to a replacement or refund if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality.

Product Assessment: We rely on our Rabbi to check the lulav and etrog and his decision of the kashrut or otherwise of these species shall determine whether this product is acceptable.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by a defined time. However, the Australian Consumer Law does recognise that the relevant time period can vary from product to product, depending on factors such as the nature of the product and the price.

In order to obtain a refund, exchange or to repair, you must have clear proof of purchase - typically, but not always, a receipt.

For loss prevention purposes we may need to record your personal details. For further information on our Privacy Policy, please click here.

"Services"

Almost all of the sales we make are for services and, most often, you will be required to pay for these in advance of the service, as we incur costs in advance of the service provision.

While we are open to refunds where you no longer require the service you booked or ordered, we reserve the right to retain the costs (such as labour costs, advance caterer's costs, or loss of further sale of that service, etc.) once we have incurred them.
